My new purchase!

I am obsessed with the Philip Lim Edie bag. Living on a budget, I found a great alternative/ knockoff and it also seems a little bigger! I found it on modcloth.com for only $30.00.

Givenchy!

I love these boots! They have amazing detail. I love how they lace up.... Just a small hint of military (with elegance)!

Sarah Burton talks about her first McQueen show.

Sarah Burton is the new head designer at Alexander McQueen. She was not a surprising pick for the company's new designer because she worked along side the designer for over a decade.

With all of the hype surrounding her first show, she has spoken out a little about her first collection. She says that the collection is going to be a little softer than Alexander's and show a females take on the company's brand. The show is coming soon and we will see how Alexander's former partner does! I'm excited and good luck Sarah!

Prada!

I was floored when I saw the Prada collection for spring 2011. It was for me completely unexpected and flirty. I absolutely loved the color scheme. The colors popped like crazy and there was a great energy throughout the entire show. Miuccia Prada described her collection as "minimal baroque". There was also a bit of medical scrub inspiration mixed with Josephine Baker. My new favorite look is mixing prints like what she did with a few pieces in this collection. She did great with blending vintage prints with bold solids and strips. Also, the shes are killer.

Claudia turned designer!

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer is now a designer. She recently announced that she is designing a fashion line that will debut in the Winter of 2011. She was very good about not giving details, but saying that a launch party for her unnamed line will be next month. It will be exciting when we know more. I don't know about you guys, but I am excited. She is such a versatile model. With a resume like hers, I can only hope for the best.

Mulberry for Target!

One of fashion's favorite handbag lines in coming toTarget. Mulberry is known for using great leather for their bags that have a simple classic design and seem to last forever. This brand is very popular with young hollywood. They are great for the indie boho girl and the chic fashionista. Stars like Blake Lively, Jessica Alba, and Kate Moss are a few famous faces who carry the line.

Mulberry for target is a very fun collection. We see some fun with black PVC and pink leopard print. They do a really fun bag that is blue PVC and denim. I really enjoyed the line and how they just seemed to have fun. The company did a great job at designing a small line (8 bags) with keeping a price point on $50 and under. This will be a killer line for target and a must have for all fashion lovers.

1970's

One of next spring's major fashion trends is the 1970's. It's about time and I am totally in love with it. For Fall 2010 we saw a lot of high waisted wide leg pant suits. Designers like Zac Posen brightened up this trend using a camel color instead of black for the fall. For the spring we are seeing rich colors with fierce prints. After watching the Marc Jacobs show I was moved and speechless. I love these looks because they are comfortable, effortless and give a sense of beauty that is timeless. Get ready for spring and be sure to rock deep red, great platforms and most important killer sunglasses!
