Leggings!

I have been trying to master the legging trend for a while now. I just had to find the right piece (a tunic/mini dress) to make me feel complete. I think I did a pretty good job. I loved this outfit....and the sunglasses!

Retro or Oversized

It's that time of year again......SPRING TIME!!! and sunglasses are on my mind.  The question that bugs me each spring is retro or oversized??? I feel like in so many ways they are completely different, but so much the same. They both make a statement and that is always my plan. The thing for me is to get something killer stylish and flexible so they match my whole if not most of my wardrobe.

Polka Dots and Bows!

 I was in the mood for polka dots this past Saturday, so this dress was naturally a great choice. After being in the city wearing a sweater all day, we escaped to Oakland for a family BBQ and got a chance to finally have some sun.

A Shoes Second Life

So, the DIY side of me came out today. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I like to call them my old lady shoes because they are from Talbots and super comfortable. I got them from the old Junior League store on Fillmore St. I accidently wore them in the rain and it destroyed the ribbon. So, naturally I had to replace them. I know it is really simple, I am just happy not to see a dirty white ribbon anymore.

 I was able to just pull out the old ribbon. I measured the old ribbon to know what length to make the new one.

Put in the new ribbon. Good as new!

Color Block

Color blocking done well seems to be something very hard to do without guidance. I'm still gathering my look, but here are some inspirations.
