Chanel WAS for SALE!

*The top sold VERY quickly, but I still wanted to share!*

Hell my lovely viewers I wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity for You! I've listed a fantastic CHANEL top to sell in my Etsy store! It's too big for me and would be a great addition to any wardrobe! The details are below.

This is a Vintage Chanel top. It's a tube top style with a scalloped edge. My favorite feature of thing about the top are the gold buttons down the back. It is totally Chanel style, classic with chic and glam elements. It's not prefect. Because it is a vintage top it has a few small age spots, but they aren't showing up in the pictures. To me it looks perfect! The top is linen so it is great for casual looks and really makes me think of resort collections. On the right person you can really do anything with it.

Check it out on Etsy!

Winter Cowl Lovin

I'm not gonna lie, this whole outfit was styled around my sweater. I stopped at Crossroads (a thrift store that I can really just call home) on my way home looking for winter sweaters and tops in general. I've accumulated a ton of basic t's but nothing really cool. I found a maroon knitted sweater and the sweater I'm wearing. I have come to appreciate cowl neck sweaters and I wish I had one for everyday! I'm pretty sure that the neck in longer than the actual sweater! I can play with it and style it just about any way I want. This came in handy because it was freezing yesterday and I didn't have to wear a scarf.

This is one of my kinda thrown together everyday looks. It's not super polished (that's what I like the most), but it's still me. On cold days like this one, comfort is key!

A Very Mink Christmas!

This Christmas was filled with tons of fun, joy, love, and family. Every Christmas we travel all over the Bay Area and the Valley to our family. Every family has their traditions and ours (mine and Tony's) has become to travel and celebrate Christmas with ALL of our family. The Christmas blowout starts on the night of the 24th and ends on the 26th.

All the traveling comes with a ton of packing and clothes. The clothes are one of the fun parts. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are my favorite holidays because it is an excuse to dress up and be incredibly over dressed. I finally got to wear my mink! I'm not quite bold enough to just walk around on an average day wearing fur so I had to wait for the perfect occasion to show it off. It was quite warm for being a shall and I pretty much love it.

Santa was more than generous to me this year. Besides my health, family, and husband I was lucky to enjoy some great gifts. My husband got my a killer new jacket that I will be sure to feature, gift cards from family, and much more. I am thankful for this holiday season and can't wait till New Years! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you had a ton of fun. Next on the list, Enjoy the Sales!

Plaid Studded World

I woke up this morning wanting to mix up my usual. I started following a new blog Frankie Hearts Fashion and I couldn't get the plaid button up from her post Downtown Brunching out of my head. I really love red and plaid so it was bound to happen. Also, I just liked the look of it. This drove me to rummage through my closet like a mad woman looking for my plaid shirt.

I also have been really into blazers. I passed this girl on my way to work the other day and I couldn't get her look out of my head either. I have just been finding inspiration everywhere these days. The photo shoot was fun. I have been itching to shoot here. I just think I need a new blazer.

Color Combustion

I have gone color crazy! Lately my wardrobe has been neutrals and it really feels like it's been forever since I have worn color. I spent a night looking at Kate Spade and it has sent me into a Kate Spade phase. Kate Spade is all about color and she helped bring me back to life. It is a clothing line that exudes confidence and fun. This look is all about fun!

The sweater I am wearing has been tried on just about everyday for the past month. I've been having a hard time styling it and wanting to wear such a bright sweater. This past weekend I took a trip to Forever 21 to see if I could find a cheap bottom. I was seriously in luck and found this eggplant skirt. It was $7.00 and fit perfectly, so I had to get it.

When getting dressed I realized I couldn't just wear plain tights. I kept going and went crazy with the styling. It's a little over the top but hey, I only live once.

Heavy Metal Lover

Tis the season to wear lace and stripes. I was dabbling with my edgy side for the day. This black lace top is one of my favorite tops right now. I paired it with a skirt I never wear. I had a weirdness towards pencil skirts for a while. I'm not sure why because they are so simple and chic. It was so easy to get dressed and accessorize. Usually I would have worn my shirt tucked in, but I decided to change it up and unbutton my style a little. I like how feminine this look is. The lace up pointed booties and tight skirt just screamed GAGA and Madonna to me. Sometimes I really feel like I am playing dress up in my closet.

Take sometime to enjoy some Gaga and Madonna if you like! They are the queens of reinvention. I love how they are always changing. It's crazy how much clothes and make up can inspire.

When I Get Home

........and the semester is OFFICIALLY OVER! I didn't realized how much I just love being home. The past month has been CRAZY busy. I have had a ton of homework, family obligations and Tony has played a few shows. Life is something that really no planning can control. Planning keeps us on the path, but we always get there differently than planned...Relaxation is rare for use because we are always on the go, but when I get it I never want to stop relaxing. I took some time out to relax and share my favorite room with you.

This is my bedroom. It is not super grand but it's mine. This is where I get dressed, watch tv, read, do homework, have fun make up sessions, and try on my shoes from time to time. The thing I do the most here is hand gout with my husband and sleep. These are a few shots of me in my favorite place. It was fun and probably the most comfortable shoot ever.

What is your favorite place at home?

Brown and Blue Dot Blues

Actually I'm not blue at all! I just liked the play on words! The only blue parts of this are the sky, my tights, and blouse. Life has been sucking a little since I started working Saturdays. It means less time with my husband but it has turned out fun eating lunch with him and using the park as our photography studio.

I thoroughly had a really good time getting dressed. I was listening to Robyn's Body Talk, dancing it up and putting together different clothing combos. I have been watching the New Girl with Zoe Deschanel and loving the show and her style. I enjoy her style because it is whimsical and really just fun. I was thinking about her a little when I was getting dressed because the ruffle top was originally a NO, but I kept it on and kept playing with it. It turned out to be great and I really had a ton of fun with this look. I opened up my style bubble!

Check out the style feature that the Fashionbff did on me! I am super excited and thankful for a fun opportunity!

Mod Mini

I had a song by The Who stuck in my head and it sparked the inspiration for my outfit! I was thinking 1960's mod style minus the color. My husband is a REALLY big Who fan and a video of them performing "Can't Explain" from the early days was also running in my mind while singing and getting dressed. So much of what I wear is inspired by music and the feelings I'm having while listening. Do you listen to music when you get dressed?

When I think of 1960's mod I think of Twiggy. Her pixie cut, boots, baby doll dresses, and everything in between.

Hopefully my mini and shoes are mod enough.....for the day!
